Whose News on Radio Disney
In three to four hours youth write stories and scripts for a pre–recorded radio show known as Whose News on Radio Disney. Youth learn to revise drafts into edited scripts. They learn to use their voices to create characters and tape their finished product. Whose News on Radio Disney is a community service project between the stations in Denver, Colorado and Houston, Texas. In half–day workshops volunteer writing and performance coaches work with students in small teams to brainstorm, write, revise and edit drafts. All youth develop voice, tone and diction, as segment announcers. Requirements: 2nd—12th
